The village comprises 9 basic but well
furnished rooms with en-suite washrooms, a
common restaurant and TV area.
The Africa Village is well secluded in the
Easter Section of the Coconut Grove Beach
Resort Golf course..
A cozy African-style lounge a few meters
from the vast grassy pans of the Golf course
and the Atlantic Ocean is the perfect
setting for drinks and meals.
Our guests can explore the Coconut Grove
Beach Resort that is only 2 minutes walk
away and relax around the pool or enjoy our
18 hole Golf course.
We are strategically located within 5
minutes drive from the Elmina Castle, 20
minutes walk to the Castle and 30 minutes
drive to the Kakum National Park. We can
also arrange a walking Tour of Elmina for
our cherished guests
Coconut Grove Hotels is pleased to inform
our customers and the general public of an
exciting addition to our hospitality
products – the Coconut Grove African Village
at Elmina. This addition to the Coconut
Grove family has 20 rooms, each with its own
shower and toilet facility. It is built
mostly with local clay and other materials
as a compound of 10 rectangular and round
huts. There is a community hut with
television, bar and space for meetings and
relaxation. The individual rooms have
ceiling fans, are spacious and clean with
normal beds in addition to traditional
sleeping mats and other interesting items
you may find in a village room. It is an
ideal place for families, groups, friends
and others who may want to be in the same
common area and wonderful for individuals
who want an African experience.
The Coconut Grove African Village at Elmina
is within walking distance of the Coconut
Grove Beach Resort. Therefore, guests will
be able to spend time at the Resort and use
its restaurant and other facilities. The
beach is also within walking distance.
The African Village promises to be an escape
from the traditional hotel and brings you
into a world of true Ghanaian Village
setting. Offering good value, it is ideal
for those who prefer a more authentic
Ghanaian Experience.
